Comfort and fit

Can they handle 12-hour shifts? +

That’s what they were built for. Dense cushioning under the heel and the ball of the foot, where hospital floors hit hardest, and a thin top so they never feel bulky in your shoes.

Will they stay up in my sneakers or clogs? +

Yes. The snug cuff and the heel pocket keep them in place all shift, with no slipping and no marks on your calves.

What size are they? +

One size fits most, [US women’s 6 to 11]. The sock stretches to fit without feeling tight.

Are these compression socks? +

No. They have light arch support, but no tight squeeze. They’re made to cushion and soothe your feet, not to compress your legs.

Will they feel bulky in my shoes? +

No. The padding sits under your foot, not over it, so they fit in sneakers and clogs without making them feel tight.

Are these compression socks? +

No. Twelve has a supportive band at the ankle but no graduated compression and no tight squeeze, so you can wear them all day without that “squeezed” feeling.

Will they help with swelling or other medical conditions? +

Twelve is an everyday comfort sock. It is not a medical device and is not meant to treat any condition. If you have swelling or circulation concerns, talk to your healthcare provider about what’s right for you.

Are they only for nurses? +

They’re made for long days on your feet, and nurses are who we think about first. They work just as well for teachers, retail, hospitality, or anyone who stands and walks all day.

Materials and care

What are they made of? +

78% polyester, 15% nylon, and 7% spandex. No cotton, so nothing in them soaks up sweat and holds it against your skin.

Will they make my feet sweat? +

Polyester and nylon don’t hold moisture the way cotton does, and the mesh panel on top of the foot lets heat out. They’re built to keep your feet fresher through a long shift.

How do I wash them? +

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Washing in cold water and drying on low helps them keep their shape.

How long do they last? +

Wash after wash, they’re made to hold their cushioning and their shape. If a pair wears out sooner than it should, email us and we’ll make it right.
